Sunni Undalu ( Urad dal laddu / Black Gram sweet)

Today I would like to Share a sweet traditional Dish
It is very easy to prepare and very healthy without fat,

Preparation time: 10 min
Ingredients ( for 4 people)

Black Gram/ urad dal / minappapu - 250 grams
Jaggery / gur / bellam                     - 150 grams( you can cut with knife)
Ghee  / ghee / neyyi                       - 100 grams
Rice  / chawal / biyyam                  - 20 grams(Optional and who want crunching in the middle)

Method:

1. Roast the black gram till it becomes golden brown and releases the good aroma.
2. Keep it a side till it becomes cool .
3. Grind the roasted Black gram and Jaggery to the fine Powder.
4. (Optional) Take some rice and roast it on the pan. If you want you can add these to the above powder.
5. Add Ghee to the fine powder and mix it well and make round balls with the help of your hand.( use more ghee and jaggery( for Sweet tooth) if you want).
 Finally here are the Black gram sweet bolls for you to taste.
Keep these in tight container so that you can keep them 10 - 20 days.

I would like to explain how Important the way Indian dishes are characterized by the extensive use of various Indian spices , herbs, vegetables and fruits. Indian Cuisine is also known for the widespread practice of vegetarianism though I explain you the non-vegetarian Dishes Because When India ruled the Moghals  , there were  lot of non-veg Dishes prepared with different spices Especially "The Biryani". These are all came to India from Middle eastern countries.

Each Family of Indian cuisine includes a wide assortment of dishes and cooking techniques. Indian cuisine varies from region to region reflecting the varied demographics of the ethnically diverse subcontinent.
